Problem
By default, Hubs are public. This means anyone with the link to your Hub or Session can view all of its contents, including recordings, chat, files, etc.
Solution
As of revnt v1.10 release, Host and Admins now have the ability to truly restrict Hubs to select Participants. This is done via Private Hubs. Private Hubs requires manually inviting select participants using the Hub's Manage settings form on the revnt platform.
FAQ
How to modify your Hub's view state, Private Hub or Public Hub
Navigate to your Hub.
Click "Manage".
Either click Public Hub or Private Hub.
Finally, click "Save".
How to invite someone to your Private Hub
Navigate to your Hub and click "Manage".
On the Administration tab, ensure the Private Hub option is enabled and saved.

How can I remove access to a specific Hub Participant
Note, the Hub Participant list field is hidden if the Hub is in Public Hub mode. This is because in Public Hub mode, anyone can view the Hub and its contents. To remove Participant access, ensure your Hub is in Private Hub mode.
Navigate to your Hub.
Click "Manage" button and "Administration" tab.
In the "Hub Participants" section, navigate down to the dropdown list of participants.
Uncheck the Participant you wish to remove access to your Hub.
Click "Save" in the bottom right.
What permissions do Hub Participants have
By default, invited Hub Participants only have view access to your Hub, Session Landing Pages, and the ability to attend Sessions. Hub Participants do not have permissions to administrate Sessions or manage the Hub.
Can a Hub Participant be a Hub Admin as well
Yes, either can view the Private Hub, but only Hub Admin can manage the Hub.
What happens if someone navigates to a Private Hub without access
If someone navigates to a Private Hub that they don't have access to, they will be redirected to revnt's 404 page.
What happens to existing Hubs before the Private Hubs feature was introduced
Any Hub created before the v1.10 release, will default to Public Hub mode. This means anyone with a link can view all of your Hub, Hub Sessions, including Hub Session Recordings and Chat. If you wish to restrict access, please follow instructions on this page to change your Hub mode to Private Hub mode.
