Single Screen Setup

If you are unable to use a second screen, you can still navigate between your video and your presentation.

If you are able to use a second screen, click this button to review other instructions.

PowerPoint:

  1. 1. After you have joined your video session, open your PowerPoint presentation and navigate to the Slide Show tab.

  2. Click From Beginning or press F5 to start presentation mode. Your slide will fill the whole screen.

  3. Press Alt + Tab on your keyboard to focus on the browser window with your video on it.

    1. If you have many windows open, hold Alt and hit Tab multiple times until the correct window is selected.

  4. Now that you can see the video, click Share at the bottom of the video window, then click Window in the dropdown. Select your full-screen slide, then click the Share button in the dropdown.

    1. When you click the second Share button, your presentation may come into focus, blocking your view of the video. Just like before, use Alt + Tab to navigate back to the browser window.

You should now be able to see the video, with your camera and slides present on one screen, with your presenter window on the other. Use your cursor on the presenter window to change slides, or simply click on it and use your arrow keys to navigate.

Google Slides:

  1. After you have joined your video session, open your Google Slide presentation in another tab.

  2. Navigate back to the revnt tab, and click the Share button at the bottom of the video window.

  3. Click Chrome Tab, and select your Google Slides tab. Then click the Share button at the bottom of the dropdown.

    1. Note: This option is only present in Chromium based browsers like Chrome and Microsoft Edge. We highly recommend using one of these options. If you cannot, select the Window which has your Google Slides present instead of Chrome Tab.

  4. In your Google Slide tab, click Present in the top right corner of the page.

    1. Your slides should expand to take up the whole tab, but not the full screen.

  5. You can switch between revnt and the slides by clicking on the tabs, seeing your video when you are speaking, and switching back to the Google Slides tab when you need to change slides.
