Problem

Many video participants face challenges accessing video content due to hearing impairments or situational limitations, such as noisy environments or the inability to play sound. Without closed-captioning, these users miss out on valuable information and engagement.

Solution

We are thrilled to announce a new feature release that enhances accessibility and inclusivity across our platform: Closed-Captioning for Live and On-Demand Video Content. By implementing closed-captioning, we ensure that all viewers can fully engage with and understand your content, regardless of their auditory capabilities or environment.

How

Live Closed-Captioning

For any live sessions (live-panel/live-stream), you can now click the CC button to enable closed-captioning. Note, hosts must click CC button first, to enable CC for participants.

On-Demand Closed-Captioning

For any on-demand videos (previously recorded live sessions), first click the CC button on the bottom right of the video player, then click English CC.
