Welcome to the Paid Registration deep dive. Here, you will learn how to connect your bank account, set ticket prices, and see your earnings. For information on buying tickets, please click here.

Connecting your Bank Account

Let's walk through how to connect a bank account:

  1. Go to your Organization Page by clicking Manage Your Organization in the Profile Menu.

  2. Then, click the Manage Organization button near your logo.

  3. Click the Manage Payouts tab

  4. Click the Connect Account button. Another tab will open, and you will be directed to a Stripe page, who is our payment processor.

  5. Follow the instructions to set up your Stripe account, or connect an existing Stripe account.

  6. Once you have finished, close that tab, and return to the previous one. You should now see your bank information in the Manage Payouts tab.

  7. Profit. You're all set up to sell some tickets!

Tickets and Pricing

Now that you're set up to get paid, let's talk tickets.

Videos will default to Free unless you flip a switch. To do that, go to the Overview section of your video and click the switch under "Ticket Prices".

Ticket Types

There are currently two types of tickets: Live and On-Demand. Live tickets allow your attendees to participate in the video session while it is live and view the recorded content after the video session has been completed, whereas On-Demand tickets will only allow an attendee to view the recorded content. If you set a price for both types, the Live type will disappear after the video is complete.

You can set different prices for each or the same price for both. If you only wish to allow a single ticket type, set the other ticket price to zero.

Below your set prices, you will see the amount you receive per ticket, less processing fees. This way, you can see exactly how much revenue you will generate per ticket.

Processing fees are removed before depositing your revenue in your bank account. You will never receive an invoice for ticket processing fees from revnt. For more detailed information on how these fees are calculated, please click the button below.

Payouts are processed on a rolling basis. You should expect to see ticket revenue deposits within three days of ticket purchases.

Discount Codes

You also have the ability to create discount codes. You can create as many codes as you want and apply them to specific ticket types. Click Manage Discount Codes to open up the menu.

There are 4 options for every Discount Code:

  1. Code - The text a registrant will enter to get the discount. Can be any combination of text, but will be converted to all capital letters

  2. Discount Type - Percentage or Absolute in dollars

  3. Discount Amount - If Percentage is selected above, this will be the percentage discounted. If Absolute is selected, this will be the amount discounted in dollars.

  4. Ticket Type - Specify whether this code is applicable to Live tickets, On-Demand tickets, or both

To create additional codes, click the Add Code + button and another form will appear. Click Save once you've finished.

Ticket Sales Data

After you've started to promote your video, we imagine you will want to see just how much you have earned. To do that, click the Ticket Sales link on the bottom left side of the Video Creation:

This will open your Stripe Dashboard, where you can view your Ticket Sales data:

That's it for Paid Registration! Remember, if you have any questions, you can always send an email to support@revnt.io to get some answers.
